About me
Hi, I’m Jill. I’ve spent more than 35 years supporting charities, schools, churches, community groups and NGOs to grow their impact through effective funding, project design and reporting.
Over the years I’ve worked with organisations of all shapes and sizes, both in the UK and overseas. I understand the different pressures faced by small community groups and large international charities alike, and I enjoy tailoring my support to what’s genuinely helpful in each context.
I offer practical, flexible support – whether that’s stepping in for a few days to help with a specific bid, or working alongside you over a longer period. My approach is straightforward and collaborative: no jargon, no unnecessary complexity, just clear thinking and solid delivery.
These days I’m based on the south coast of the UK with my husband, three children and a cat who likes to drink from the tap when I’m not looking.
I’m passionate about building community, being involved in my church, and cheering on other mums through the challenges of parenting. I love swimming in the sea – especially if it’s followed by tea and cake
Track record
Over the past three decades, I’ve helped organisations secure funding from a wide range of sources, including:
- UK Government (DFID and FCDO)
- National Lottery, Comic Relief, EU and Live Aid
- UK and international trusts, foundations and corporate partners
- Local donors passionate about community development and impact
From small UK community projects to large international programmes, I’ve seen how the right funding can turn ideas into lasting change.
